I bought him a new cup with a straw and he seems to like it and the chocolate milk wasn't really a hit BUT he did take a few confused sips which is more than he did with the regular milk.
just in case you need another option, the born free transition cups are wonderful! expensive for a cup ($10, I think), but we had such an easy transition with them. amelia thought they were bottles. then one day i just gave her a regular sippy and she didn't notice. of course all kids are different, though... good luck!
Not as experienced as most but making it work. I'm a wife, a student, a mom to one with one on the way. I am a perpetual learner with an unbiased opinion on life. Just the facts ma'am. I am 32 with the mind of a 60 year old but a zest for life like a 20. Sometimes cynical but always real. I am open and free minded and try to find humor and love in everything. I am My Kind Of Mommy!!!
Good job! ....baby steps! He'll get there soon...
